Going Crazy
SOMEONE STOP ME!
I'm going crazy about those Korean shows. Just for your information, I'm in the process of watching this very nice Korean drama series - 巴黎恋人. Casts include Park Shin Yung, Lee Dong Gun and Kim Jung Eun.
Don't worry. I'm not going to blabber about how nice this show is. You just got to watch it!
Why does Korean shows captivate me so much? Its not exactly because of the storyline. If you watch Korean drama like I do, you'll realise that the storylines are not much different from those of Japanese or Hong Kong or Taiwanese or even Singapore's drama shows. As you watch it, you kind of know what's going to happen at the end. Its not exactly because of the casts too, though I do not deny that the Korean girls can be quite pretty and some of the guys can be quite good looking (but really, not all. Even if they are beauties, its probably artificial too.).
What captivates me most is the music and the songs behind the scenes. Every single show has its own soundtrack. This is why I like 第八号当铺 so much too. Yes, I like Alex Toh, but its not because of him that I liked the show. Its really because of the originality of the music and the songs.
Alright, back to my Korean drama series. I simply love them! The music and the vocals and the songs. Korean songs captivate my heart in a deep way. I don't understand the lyrics at all, but its the way the songs are sang and the arrangement of the songs and of course the melody. (Btw, when I listen to Korean songs, the only thing I can understand is 'sarang hae' and I'm proud of it!) Of course if one likes a song, those are usually the factors. However, the other thing about the songs and the show is that the songs are played at the right time, right moment in the different scenes in the show. The melody and the words totally captured the feelings and the mood of the scene. Accompanied by the acting of the casts, its a perfect combination.
The only thing is that one will not be able to appreciate the song if one has not yet watched the show (I realised this on the bus while travelling today. So a light bulb lights up!). But when one watched the show, one will be totally captivated in the songs. Even without watching the scenes, one will be able to feel and recall the different scenes of the show while listening to the soundtracks. To me, the feeling is there. Feelings of love, of sadness, disappointments, happiness.
I have so much to say about this. But its really late now. I haven't finished watching 巴黎恋人. I'm pregnant in my spirit with a vision and a goal. There's so much out there for me to explore, but its not the right moment to reveal it on a public blog like this (I don't mean my blog has as many visitors/readers as that of Xiaxue). Its kind of a company secret (absolutely confidential!). If it really happens, I pray it'll happen beginning of 2006, between February and March.
Pray for me, my dear friends. Pray that my vision will be clearer and pray that I'll have wisdom and strength to contain all the excitement and ideas within me. Being the naive me, I do not want to risk doing anything that has no God or the Holy Spirit in it. Thanks everybody who's praying for me!
