A penny for my Thoughts

Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest."

"Lord, I pray I'll bear a good testimony everywhere I go."

"Lord, let me be the light and the salt of the earth."

"I want to shine for the Lord in everything I do."

"God, let me be a good testimony at home."

We bear a good testimony.

Now, we ARE the testimony.

But...

Many times we are so engrossed in BEING a testimony that we forgot CHRIST IS THE TESTIMONY.

We live our lives to glorify God. Yes. We try to be kind to people, we try to show people how different we are and we try to convince people that we are good people because God has made us good.

How does that change/impact souls?

Bearing and being a good testimony is good.

But more than that!

It is all about Jesus. It's all about what Jesus has done on the CROSS.

Stop showing the world how changed we are. Start telling them how their lives can be changed!

Had some thoughts about this word recently. What I'm going to write below are all what I came out with - FOR FUN.

M - Makes
U - U
S - Sink
I - In
C - Christ

So...

Music makes us sink in Christ! Haha! Cool?

Anyway, God created mUsIc because of U and I. So I want to write music because I'm part of it. And it involves U!

I've decided to start a new blog, all about music and my thoughts about music. New songs will be uploaded and linked to that blog. It's under construction now, so be patient.

As for the song above, I'll try to record a good one before I put it up on the web. Meanwhile, enjoy the lyrics!

So I've been thinking, "Who am I not to be?"

Here are a few answers:

1) I'm not to be a nasty person.
2) I'm not to be a wimpy person.
3) I'm not to be a whiny person.
4) I'm not to be a lousy person.
5) I'm not to be a person without excellence.
6) I'm not to be a person with bad attitude.
7) I'm not to be a person with unwillingness.
8) I'm not to be a person with rebellion.
9) I'm not to be someone who can't do anything.
10) I'm not to be someone who can't sing.
11) I'm not to be someone who can't lead.
12) I'm not to be someone who can't love.

Wow... I'm not to be so many things.

Try this. The more you ask yourself who are you not to be, the more you realise who you are to be!

This is what my friend's friend shared with my friend who shared with me:

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
