Personality Test

I think the descriptions are quite accurate. Read on!

Your Personality Style Description:

Loke is an optimistic individual. She is the type of person who loves exploring new places or things and a wide variety of experiences. She tends to display a natural charisma that draws others to her charm. Loke is a very encouraging person; others are drawn to her because they find her inspirational.

Neat and orderly, others usually see Loke as practical. She needs adequate information to make decisions, and she will consider the pros and cons. She may be sensitive to criticism, and will tend to internalize her emotions. Loke likes to clarify expectations before undertaking new projects, and she will follow a logical process to gain successful results.

Loke takes a flexible approach in her dealings with others and she is willing to pursue different avenues to maintain good relationships. While she is patient and will not usually rush, Loke is not afraid to actively seek new solutions if previous methods do not fit the current situation.

Loke prefers to work through problems by analyzing things that worked in the past. She is willing to follow another person's lead if they display adequate ability and if Loke has confidence in their ability. She is someone who is able to lead, if necessary; but usually prefers to wait and see if another person volunteers first.

====================================================================

Here's why I say its quite accurate:

1) optimistic - I *sings* always look on the bright side of life *whistles*.

2) loves exploring new places or things + wide variety of experiences - I like to have more general knowledge.

3) encouraging - I always try to encourage others. (That's what the bible says I should do.)

4) practical - Yes, I am practical. So I don't do shopping unnecessarily.

5) follow a logical process to gain successful results - Usually I need to draw out a process to do things (planning).

6) flexible approach in her dealings with others - It's ok if other's don't take my suggestion, but I'll always state my reasons for doing things.

7) patient and will not usually rush - I can't do things well when I'm in a rush. Even if I'm really in a rush, I convince myself to be calm while doing it.

8) actively seek new solutions - What's the point of doing things the same way if it doesn't work? Find new solutions!

9) willing to follow another person's lead - I can learn more from another person this way.

10) able to lead, if necessary - This is absolutely true! Not because I feel inadequate when I don't lead. It is because someone else may be able to lead better than me!

====================================================================

As for the rest of the qualities described in the passage above, I'm not too sure myself. Maybe others can see it in me better than myself. So, do leave your comments under this entry!

Have a great day!

Snow Shaved Ice Dessert

The first time I went to Taiwan, their desserts caught my attention. I simply loved it! I'm not sure if anybody else would be as crazy as me about ice desserts, but I just want to say that God is a wonderful God who is extremely creative to come out with this kind of desserts.

I've never really fancied desserts until I went to Taiwan. Seriously, even when I came back, none of the desserts in Singapore could be compared to those over there. One thing for sure, every bowl of ice dessert I had in Taiwan was value for money. A large bowl of it would only cost something like $1, when it'll probably cost $3-4 in Singapore. That's the second reason why I loved it.

The ice is much smoother and smaller, less crunchy and the toppings are much more than what we have here in Singapore. Furthermore, they have many more varieties to choose. That's the most exciting thing, because you can even choose your own toppings. These toppings include sweet potatoes, green bean, red bean, fen yuan, zhen zhu and more.

Here's a picture that I took on the last night while I was in Taiwan a month ago:

What do you think?
This is actually green tea shaved ice with red beans. It is fantastic!!!

Saliva dripping already?
Haha! I hope it comes to Singapore soon!

Roller Coaster Ride

If I am on a roller coaster ride,
then God must be the Guy in the control room, controlling the speed and the duration of the ride.

If I am on a roller coaster ride,
then Jesus must be the Guy down there taking pictures of me screaming and cheering me on.

If I am on a roller coaster ride,
then the Holy Spirit must be the safety belt which held on to me so tightly so that I wouldn't fall from my seat.

I was on a roller coaster ride...

God SPEAKS...

Have you ever heard God at the most unexpected time?

Ever since I went for mission trip to NE asia, God has been speaking to me at the most unexpected time. And He's always so patient to wait for my response.

I was feeling desperate and depressed some time ago, but everything was turned rightside up when God spoke to me. Those were such divine moments.

He spoke to me so clearly the Sunday I touched down in Singapore from China.
He spoke to me so clearly the Sunday I made the decision to commit my life to Him.
He spoke to me so clearly the Sunday I went to FOP.
He spoke to me so clearly when I was so down in the valley.
He spoke to me so clearly when I was lost in the desert.
He spoke to me so clearly even before my friends told me the truth.

Indeed, God speaks to us...

Transparency

What?

No. I'm not going to talk about the Overhead-projector (OHP) in this entry.

God is a really good God.

I thank God that my members are transparent. They are transparent to share (at least they are to me). So I really thank God for that.

And I think I've been very transparent to everybody too. Of course I don't go around telling everybody everything about my life, but only certain things to certain people. So everybody has a piece of my life. Haha! How interesting!

Anyway, today is a fruitful day.

I and Y came to my house for the purpose of playing the guitar, but it turned out to be a pre-prayer meeting meet-up. So we worshipped God and the presence of God was there and I prayed for the both of them. I hope that the anointing will be brought forward to the actual prayer meeting that we are going to have tomorrow evening. It's going to be great!

After that I went jogging with I and H. It was a long run! I think about 3km. But we did it in less than 30mins. So I was quite fast! Haha! I usually take about 30 mins to run 3km on the treadmill.

And before that I had dinner with I and we talked a lot. Or rather, I (as in me, if you are already getting confused) talked a lot. But it was a great fellowship.

At the end of the day, God is still a good God. Probably the bestest of the best!

Subway.

我和老朋友去打桩球。她真得太厉害了!看得我傻眼!!后来我们又找个地方聊天。聊啊聊的,就已经是凌晨两点了。

我是刚刚才到家不久。

捆!

God my Deliverer

God is my deliverer.
He delivers me not just during Pst Mike Connell's service, but also during FOP!

How amazing! It just shows that the presence of God will be in the place where two or three are gathered together!

Even though FOP is not like CHC, God can still do a good work through it. Its definitely not the church, or the senior pastor, or the music team, or the worship songs or the place. It is just God Himself. God is real and alive today. Without Him, I would probably have to take another month to get over things.

I love Him!

Vision26

Was chatting with a friend on MSN last night.

And he called it a PROJECT - Vision26.

HahHaha! It's up to you to think what it is.

But what he says is true. Bible principles apply to every area of our lives (including Vision26).

想到Vision26就觉得很好笑!昨晚在凌晨两点钟还有人在哈哈大笑。那就是我!

等待

你有尝试过等待一个人吗?

等待可以是痛苦的。也可以是甜蜜的。

但是我不想等了。

好累。
